Diagnose Flat Tractor Tire

You won't believe this bad luck...TRACTOR FAIL!!
What happens here
Upon discovering a flat tire on a Massey Ferguson 240 tractor, inspect the wheel to identify the cause. In this instance, a detached hitch pin from the brush hog had bounced around inside the rim, severing the tire's valve stem. Note that while one side of the tractor tire has a protective boot welded around its valve stem, the damaged side does not, leaving it vulnerable. This type of tire is also 'liquid loaded' (filled with fluid for weight), which complicates an on-site repair. Due to the complexity and the liquid filling, a simple field repair is not feasible, requiring the tractor to be transported to a specialized tire shop.
Goal: Identify the cause and assess the repair difficulty of a flat tractor tire.
Tools and materials
- Brush Hog — An implement attached to the tractor, from which the pin detached
- Hitch Pin — The object that caused the tire damage
