What happens here

The presenter conducts a drop test comparison between two DeWalt 25-foot tape measures and a generic red/black tape measure. He climbs onto the roof of his house, approximately 30 feet high, and first drops a DeWalt tape measure onto a gravel driveway. Upon inspection, it shows only a minor scuff and remains fully functional. Next, he drops another DeWalt tape measure from the roof onto a paver patio. This tape measure also survives with minimal damage and full functionality. Finally, he drops the generic red/black tape measure onto a rocky area. Upon retrieval, the generic tape measure is severely damaged, with its casing split and the internal spring mechanism broken, rendering it unusable. The DeWalt tape measures are then demonstrated to still retract smoothly, highlighting their superior durability.

Goal: Compare the durability of DeWalt tape measures against a generic brand through high-impact drop tests.
