Align the 'Socket Blocker' precisely over the exposed electrical outlet or light switch, ensuring that the entire fixture is covered. Press the blocker firmly onto the wall around the fixture to secure it in place, creating a complete seal that will protect the device from paint overspray or accidental contact with paint rollers.
