Working with my Apollo Precision-6 to turn trash to treasures! #treasures #easy #fun
What happens here
Place the coffee table on sturdy elevated supports, such as buckets, to allow easy access to all surfaces. Use an orbital sander equipped with a vacuum attachment to sand all exterior surfaces of the coffee table thoroughly. Start with a medium-grit sandpaper (e.g., 180-220 grit) to remove any existing finish or imperfections, then switch to a finer grit (e.g., 280-320 grit) for a smooth final sanding. The vacuum attachment will help to minimize dust. Pay attention to edges and curved areas, sanding until the surface feels uniformly smooth.
Goal: Prepare the table surface for finishing by sanding
