What happens here
Using an automatic taper or a flat box with an extension pole, apply the first coat of joint compound over taped seams on the ceiling. This tool efficiently embeds the tape and applies a uniform layer of mud. For wall seams and corners, use a taping knife and mud pan to apply the joint compound smoothly, feathering the edges to blend with the drywall surface. Ensure all seams and screw holes are covered.
Goal: Cover all drywall seams and fasteners with joint compound.
