Willys Jeep Rescue: I messed up! New Year's Eve project live stream!

What happens here

The presenter shares his long-term plans for the 1952 Willys Jeep. He states that the fuel tank is beyond repair and needs to be replaced, likely with a plastic tank for safety. He also plans to remove and rebuild the starter, replacing brushes, the coil, plug wires, cap, and rotor. The brakes are also a major concern, as the pedal is stuck and the master cylinder is likely shot and full of rust. He expresses a desire to make the Jeep safe and drivable, potentially making it original again rather than swapping in a modern engine. He mentions contacting 'Kaiser Willys' for parts and possibly seeking sponsorship.

Goal: The man outlines future repair plans for the 1952 Willys Jeep, including replacing the fuel tank, rebuilding the starter, and addressing brake issues.

to be honest with you but anyhow this is the Willis so we've been working on the Willis today I pulled the hood off and I don't want to do a too much of a spoiler for tomorrow's video but we're gonna work on getting the starter off we're gonna try and rebuild the starter put some new brushes on it and that's what's going on so I was just tasting some gas and thinking man be nice to talk to YouTube while I'm tasting some gas so what do you guys uh here we are what are you guys doing for your new years what's going on what's happening for your new years who's going out who's staying in he was living the farm dream right here buys new fancy toolbox daddy like that they make it fuel tank epoxy that would seal okay this thing is too far gone way too far going to play with some epoxy and a fuel tank only so Willis jeeps art isn't that expensive so it's worth it to go and replace it with something good probably get a plastic fuel tank it'll be a little bit safer where the fuel leaks out where it's leaking out right now currently as we speak a slow drip right on the exhaust pipe so totally glad I put some fuel in there I waited a few minutes to see if it was gonna leak and then the darn thing started leaking after I put a little more fuel in it because I was like god that's good so far so good on the radiator though it was almost bone-dry but still look clean as a whistle in there so I poured some 50/50 antifreeze in there and just trying to make sure everything's okay I'm gonna have to get some oil I'm gonna have to get a coil plug wires a cap and a rotor because the cap is just all full of dirt and the rotor and my dad said he drove this thing into the barn this is a 52 Willy's let's get you turned where you'd see it my dad said he drove this into the barn and parked it you know 25 30 years ago so we rerun gas lines - absolutely man will I'll rerun the gas lines and everything I want it to be safe and fun and drivable the brake pedal was stuck the master cylinder I know was an issue I can remember my dad back in the day having to go under the floorboard and top it off with brake fluid I remember that but he didn't remember it at all so but I'm gonna have to replace the master cylinder I mashed on the brakes it was stuck I put the Josh smash on it BAM and it like went through and hit the floorboard the brake pedal did so master cylinders probably shot and it was probably full of rust mr. nice guy thank you for 10 euros I think is what that was I don't know how…
