What happens here

Observe the demonstration of the "PTO Link System," a solution designed to simplify the often-difficult task of connecting Power Take-Off (PTO) shafts to tractor implements. The system consists of two interlocking plates: one permanently attaches to the tractor's PTO shaft, and the other to the implement's PTO receiver. The demonstrator shows how to connect them by simply sliding the implement side onto the tractor side, giving it a half-inch twist, and then securing it with a safety bolt. Disconnection is just as easy: remove the safety bolt, pull a pin, and rotate. The PTO Link System is available in various sizes to accommodate different tractor horsepower: a Compact System for tractors under 40 HP, an SD System for 20-100 HP, and an HD System for 35-130 HP. The product is available at tractorptolink.com.

Goal: Understand how the PTO Link System simplifies connecting and disconnecting tractor implements.

Tools and materials

  • Implement PTO Receiver — Representing an implement's PTO input
  • PTO Link System — Quickly connecting and disconnecting PTO-driven implements to tractors
  • Safety Bolt/Pin N/A — Securing the PTO Link connection and preventing reverse torque shearing
  • Tractor PTO Shaft — Representing the tractor's PTO output

that we can all right you guys have a tractor this is what you're trying to hook up your implements to right this is our Implement receiver hard to get this on this is the struggle that everybody deals with so we've come up with a solution to make this easier we have two interlocking plates they simply get installed like this that locks in just like that this goes goes into the Implement side and that goes on simply like that that's the part we hate so much and then we have these four studs going into the fourth teardrop holes we simply put them in the bottom two shove it together give it a little half inch twist and it locks it together this is our added safety bolt it prevents any reverse torque shearing we remove that to disconnect the system pull the pin rotate it in the direction of the arrow it's completely empty and now does this permanently stand or is this can be removed this stays on or you can remove it just that easy and what about on this side same thing with the Implement side typically we people will buy one for each Implement they're using this with or they can remove it just as simply as that yes and move it from Implement Temple an idea of different sizes available Dave we do we have one for up to 40 horsepower for the shorter PTO splines up to 100 and up to 130. where do you guys find this at tractorpto link.com all right thank you sir
