Mix the Paint Thoroughly

What happens here

Before straining, place the original paint bucket on a protective drop cloth. Use a cordless drill equipped with a mixing paddle to stir the paint thoroughly. This ensures that all components of the paint are well-blended and helps to loosen any settled pigments or thickeners, contributing to consistent color and viscosity. For multiple containers, 'boxing' (mixing all paint together in one large container) is recommended to ensure batch consistency.
