Why you have to be extra careful with an Arc Fault Circuit Breaker, White Pigtail #hendythesparky

What happens here

Before inserting the AFCI breaker, locate the neutral ('N') terminal on the breaker. The white neutral wire from the circuit will connect to this terminal. The black 'hot' wire will connect to the other terminal on the breaker. The AFCI breaker often includes a neutral pigtail (a short white wire extending from the breaker) that must be connected to the main neutral bus bar in the panel, typically indicated by a silver bus bar with many white wires attached.

Goal: Understand the wiring connections for the AFCI breaker.
