The presenter demonstrates the primary feature of the BucketMate: its hinged opening. By simply lifting one side of the lid, users can gain partial access to the bucket's contents without needing to remove the entire lid. This is ideal for quickly scooping out materials such as rock salt, bird seed, grain, or pet treats. The video shows this by lifting the lid to reveal wrapped candies inside a black bucket.
