What happens here

This DIY project provides a demonstration of how to quickly and easily install a push-fit plumbing cap (such as a SharkBite cap) onto a copper pipe for temporary sealing. It then proceeds to show the removal process using a specialized disconnect clip and mentions alternative tools like adjustable jaw pliers, illustrating the versatility and ease of use of these fittings for various plumbing tasks, including temporary seals during remodels or repairs.

Um [snorts] back when I had my business, I usually just had a half a dozen of these and I just use them all the time from remodel to remodel. And so with this, it just works out super easy. Just make sure it's fitted the whole way down there. You'll push you can tell. If you wanted to, you you can make a mark down there. So if you ever need to take this off, they make this little tool. You can also use adjustable jaw, you can use a bunch of different things. You just hook this up. And then just pry up. Now when we come back over, we're just able to pop this off. We'll solder on an adapter and we'll run PEX. Now this is capped off, we're ready to turn the water back on.
