Who can tell me what this painting tool is used for? #mystery #unuseful #tooltips #innovation

What happens here

The presenter attempts to understand the purpose of the floating grid by experimenting with various painting items. He places a paint brush onto the grid, observing that it rests on the surface, preventing the bristles from being fully submerged in the liquid. He also mentions having placed a pair of gloves (not fully visible in the shot, but implied to be on the grid or underneath it) with the intention of washing them, but notes that the grid prevents them from being fully in the water. He questions why one would want items to float on top instead of being fully submerged or completely out of the liquid.

Goal: Illustrate how items interact with the floating grid and express confusion about its benefit.

I don't know why you'd want anything floating in the top instead of down in the water. So, I've been messing around with it and like I put brushes in there. Nothing makes it sink. I have a pair of gloves in there that I um, I put underneath the bucket or underneath that. So, um, cuz I was going to wash them to reuse them. But, if I didn't want them in the water, I don't know why I'd want the floating grid.
