What happens here

This video features a speaker, identified as a 24-year-old electrician, explaining the primary reasons behind the high cost of electrician services. He attributes the expense to the dangerous nature of electrical work, the specialized knowledge and experience required, and the high demand for such skilled trades. The speaker emphasizes that clients are paying not just for labor, but for the electrician's expertise, tools, and the inherent risk to their life, drawing parallels to other high-paying, dangerous professions like underwater welding and plumbing. The video is not an instructional DIY project but rather a discursive explanation.

Do you know why electricians are expensive? Simple. Because it's dangerous. Nobody wants to touch electricity, get zapped, electrocuted, or possibly even death. I'm an electrician. I'm 24 years old. And the amount of people that ask me, "Why'd you want to become an electrician?" I always tell them, "Well, I always like working for myself, problem solving, but it's cuz the money, bro, let's be honest here. Think about it like this. The jobs that nobody wants to do are the highest paying today. like underwater welding, a lineman, a plumber, an electrician. Those jobs are extremely dangerous and you could possibly die. That's why they are so demanded and highpaying in today's age. I guarantee those jobs are paying higher than an office job, a retail job. And not saying those guys are those are bad jobs. We need corporate America, but it's the truth. But long story short, so if you ever hire an electrician and wonder why the bill was pretty up there, think about like this guys. You're paying for their knowledge, their experience, their tools, and most importantly, that their life is on the line.
