What happens here

After marking, use aviation snips, also known as tin snips, to cut the metal studs. First, cut along the marked line on one flange of the C-shaped stud. Then, bend the metal at the cut to create a crease. This will expose the web (the flat middle section) and the other flange. Cut through the web and then the second flange, following your marks. For cleaner edges, trim any burrs or sharp edges with the snips.

Goal: Cut metal studs to the required lengths
