What happens here
Once the metal studs are cut to size, begin assembling the frame sections. Place the end of one metal stud (or track) perpendicular to the face of another, forming a corner or a T-joint. Ensure the pieces are flush and properly aligned. Using a cordless drill or impact driver fitted with an appropriate hex head bit, drive self-tapping metal screws through the overlapping pieces to secure them together. For stronger connections, consider using two screws per joint.
