What is Minneapolis Covering up?

What happens here

The creator continues to document various public spaces. He films individuals openly using drugs at a bus stop directly across from a children's park. He also points out abandoned encampments, empty retail spaces, and dilapidated boarded-up homes. The video also captures a man defecating on a sidewalk. The creator highlights the sheer volume of these incidents across the city, questioning the government's ability or willingness to address them effectively.

Goal: Showcase widespread signs of urban decay, drug use, and homelessness in various city locations.

bus stop is one thing, but the fact that it is directly across from a park, a playground where the neighborhood people bring their children makes it an entirely different thing. I've slowed this down and I've zoomed in. This is the entrance to the park, but you can also see the area where the homeless get together and also do their drugs, right where the kids are playing. Right next to the playground. Right next to the freaking play playground. And it's not like there's all giant encampments everywhere. There's everywhere you look, there's just this. You You drive a couple blocks and you see stuff like this. or just drive ahead 50 feet. That dude's just slumped in the bus station. He's on heroin. That's what heroin does. And this is a guy taking a crap on a sidewalk and pulling his pants up. Welcome to Minneapolis, the town of Mayor Jacob Fry and the home of Governor Tim Waltz. Yeah, I couldn't film that out. I think even the people of Minneapolis are sick of our governor because here's a sign in Minneapolis. It says, "Governor Waltz, resign for your blank crimes." Meanwhile, Governor Waltz is in Wisconsin and Iowa holding town hall meetings. I guess he's not done with this country yet. Outside of the homeless encampments, the city of Minneapolis is littered with vacant buildings that have been shut down because of COVID. Garbage just laying around everywhere and homes that are boarded up and completely closed and sealed shut. Okay, go ahead. I don't want to get hit, but And of course, you have the pop-up homeless encampments that spring up wherever they can land. My question is, if the city of Minneapolis has a determined effort to remove the homeless from the city, where are they going to go? The powers that be that are now trying to clean this up. This was perfectly fine and status quo for the last four years until it started to look bad for them. Now, they want to remove these folks, but they're not giving us any indication of what they're doing to help them. Where are they putting these folks? They're just moving them out. I got an incredible amount of hate and threats from the first video I did about what was going on in Minneapolis. I've even been told so far that I would be hunted down if I ever showed my face in Minneapolis again. The thing is, if you don't know a problem exists, you can't begin to fix it. So, at some point, we've got to at least become aware of what's happening in the communities around us. And when I seen what was going on in…
