Unlike manufacturers who butt-weld separate sheets of metal in the middle, which creates weak points prone to rust, Diamond C uses overlapping sheets. This overlap creates a double-thick, stronger floor and keeps seams away from corners where moisture and debris can collect, preventing premature corrosion and extending the body's life. The side panels are also made from a single sheet that wraps over the top rail, further enhancing strength and preventing corrosion points.
