Mower Breaks & loses control into the pond

okay what are you saying you got no response yeah no response i mean look at the wheel it's like this look at the back of it oh yeah it looks like the axle snapped yeah i think that's what happened to cv shaft snap but yeah i mean you can hear it see how it's trying to go oh yeah i think the shaft snapped might be a little too much on that machine oh yeah look at it [Music] well the calf is off but yeah and i did this hill so yeah done get this unstuck and we're done [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] so this is a weird one hanging outside waiting for my truck with my mowers to come what what's your name angel angel yesterday nice to meet you sami sitting on the side oh yeah yeah i recognized you right away i was like oh yeah he got the cap on and all good to go so yeah the boys are coming around the corner we had a mueller go into a ditch too oh yeah yeah slap the axle on our twin uh what are you going with let's go check out angel's setup over here how long you've been in business uh about a year now yeah yeah so what have you learned so far uh like what's your biggest takeaway after one year in business you know know what you're worth to be honest you know what what you're worth and you know don't cheap out pretty much on equipment so obviously i just got this uh 52 hydro and then i got the all-wheel drive mower for hillsides and yeah and then i got a 36 less call too so hydro too okay yeah what you running that 36 much yeah yeah especially over here it's all saint paul but yep it's nice to have all those small backyards with those little with those gates that 36 comes in handy yeah and then i'm running the echo srm 20 or 225 in the pv uh 80 10. so you're using so this is your work truck right yes sharp looking set up man yeah i had a grand caravan to start with the four bites so yeah this is an upgrade for sure dang so nothing holds you back right you load everything but in the back of the caravan or did you haul a trailer with i i hauled the trailer with it so yeah with the 36. that's respect so yeah but you inspire me for sure dude i appreciate guys like you inspire me thank you man keep it up keep it up angel have a good one nice meeting you pretty cool man i love meeting i love meeting guys that are in the industry that's so cool so that whole setup happened because i'm sitting on the side of the road with my gopro mounted to the front of my pickup truck because supposedly my truck and trailer is supposed to come in and i was going to try to do a cool follow shot for you guys but now i'm a little worried my truck and trailer should have already been here let's go see if maybe they snuck in the back way see they were supposed to come right around that corner and then i would have been zoomed and it would have left everything would have been cool but i think they went the wrong way oh you snuck in on me i've been sitting up on the wrong side of the road waiting for you oh really yeah yeah i'm sitting up there and then a fan stops and all of a sudden i'm watching i'm like that guy is going really fast and all of a sudden his brakes slam on and he pulls over to the side of the road he's like you're standing i'm like you're right all right let's get hooked up and get going down the road yeah i didn't even know you came in the backside ah you guys take the back door we know what kind of guy you are now alex did you steal my hitch this morning you did it it really helps when i'm trying to hook up if i have my hitch actually in my truck hook up a lot easier if i didn't have this double sleeve around here i don't know what the sense is in that so it's got this double sleeve so this sleeve has to line up in that sleeve and then the hitch goes into it so then they all go through there since we're heading the top notch we might as well bring them more of their own gear top-notch equipment if you want to see it the right way top-notch equipment let's load her up the fronts always wear down faster you'll see why right here see how that tires slide in look how much more that's wore down than the back you guys okay down there yeah you done you done looking up at the sun maybe you could go to work with us now so one of the things i do want to point out on a serious note see how alex popped the bucket on the back that's to offset the weight of the mower up front still probably too much weight up front but we gotta we got a short distance we're going 45-50 miles that's all we'll see how she balances out all right i'm gonna strap down this bucket hey i gotta show you some new straps alex omega oh my god oh so in a case like this where i'm gonna be doing one just over the top i'll hook this i'll just let her let her buck she'll stay that little hook thing will keep it secured and lets me come around to the other side and do my thing right whatever that thing may be technically i should go through one of the holes not over the top but all right so here's where this gets kind of interesting because excess she's clean yeah yeah i mean it's great if you got just a little left over but if you got a long strap just tie it it ain't worth it no there you go that's that works pretty good all right i'll see ya you're off to grab a boulder and do whatever it is you do those boulders right there are gonna work perfect what right back there behind the table i'm just gonna grab those ones all three of them just the two the two wait wait wait wait wait what is our demo boulder you know that right yeah oh he's all right with that he was a little upset that i was taking it i don't think he wants a personal attachment to it though he's not he kind of does i'm not actually not joking no i know i mean i can go get a new one but it's all the way on hedburgs this one's right here at the yard ready to go you know i don't have an attachment to it yeah i already told him i was thinking that's fine all right like that one i know he does yeah i know he i'm surprised he's letting that go boy has an attachment to his boulder but he's demoed a lot of swimming pools with that stone let's get this to where she's got to go this is a great example of one of those deals where i actually follow my own rules and i made a training video for my guys and i talk about hooking up a truck in a trailer and after you hook it up you walk away from it and before you leave you come back and physically touch all the connections and this is what i was doing when i come through i grab this i grab this this i make sure the jack is up and lo and behold one of the two chains for the bird nest was not in place it's easy to miss those things especially when you're as busy as we are short-handed we just had one of our good guys leave us because it was a he was driving two hours every day to and from work that's a bit much i don't blame him good guy though i hate to miss him that means everybody else has more work to do till he gets back in but glad we caught that probably nothing would have happened probably nothing at all but the d.o.t pulled you over something would have happened they would have seen that and then they would have looked harder at everything else you do let's get our seatbelt let's get our seatbelt on shut you guys off and get down the road [Music] all right so we made it here we got harry and the famous yellow crocs but let's check out how this strap did stay tight not bad it's like [Music] could make it really easy on him and just kick it he's trying to one hook it he's trying to one hook it oh you got it he got it hey guys i'm gonna jump in here don't ever stand next to a one hooked bucket because they can release at any all time now the question is can i get this oh look at that axle yeah she might be snap the tits [Music] [Applause] i have no what are you doing to her swapping out the chains on the drives mm-hmm let's see how much play you got going on right there yep so this is the chain that goes from your actual drive motor to the sprocket and that's tight which you can tension with this assembly on both sides but since it's already snug you can't get any more attention out of these so we got new chains which have very much about about an inch so that should take out all this extra clay oh so you got to put a whole new chain in that's shorter well so no it's just the new chain since it's not worn in oh it hasn't stretched yeah so it hasn't stretched okay so actually it's actually two chains in there so this is the first one right well i guess but i guess a lot of people don't realize that there's a chain that goes here to a sprocket and then the rears have them now on i want to ask both of you guys this if you guys put tracks over a set of tires do you recommend taking the front set of chains off or the back set of chains or one of the set two sets of chains up because i've heard both ways i've heard if you use over the tire tracks you'll it's too much stress on it and you'll end up tearing a set of chains out if you don't take them off and i've heard other people don't touch them no at all no because in a sense since this one drive stock it drives both wheels yeah wheels should always be moving but if you have the tracks over the top which then locks your tires together you're almost doing the same thing that's what i've heard because i was like i don't take the chainsaw i've never had a problem maybe you guys know i don't know i need to know actually i should know this is something we should know dustin might know [Music] what somebody took it from the water yeah i was uh identifying as a submarine for a while why was underwater what happened through the ice what they're doing a shoreline job yeah and ran over the same spot too many times and it went yeah oh oh well i gotta do is well it didn't go in running so oh yeah just drain the oil and drain the fluids are we just following you for the hell of it harry um we're just going for a spin so it sounds like top notch also carries walker equipment which i know nothing about but they carry right and skag and harry actually told me that he would let me wheelie any skag mower without kicking me out [Music] and then harry did what he does best he brought me over to the telehandlers because he knows i want one so bad i can taste it i'm trying to justify buying one by figuring if i could use it on job sites or for snow plowing he just keeps showing them to me what do you think of them stingers the tines are split in the center so instead of the tanks driving all together like almost everybody else on one drum it's two the drums split the center so this drums up that tire that makes more sense actually hey how's it going dustin have you ever heard of if you're putting over the tire tracks on so you got a tired skid loader and you put either rubber or steel tracks yeah have you ever heard of taking one set of chains off because somebody told me to do that otherwise you're gonna as you're turning the chains compete against the tracks and tear each other tear the insides out yeah i have heard heard that before that way you kind of get that idler feel like on a regular skid steer do you have a recommendation though um you guys do introduction no we've never done it on on on the mustang brand i know the bobcat guys that's where it came from is taking off the chains that was years ago right i don't know i i just don't know as much about that anymore because times have changed so much you know right things are designed a little bit different so that's something that if you guys are going to think about i don't know how we got oh we got on it because of the the repair so so we were out in your shop so if you guys know let us know all right that'd be interesting to know it would be still
