What Did A Newell Coach Look Like In 2005? (Complete Tour)

What happens here

The presenter examines the tires, specifically checking the DOT code ('0320' indicating the 3rd week of 2020) to determine their age. He explains the general lifespan of steer tires (5 years) and tag tires (7 years) for safety and maintenance. He notes that the rear tires are older (2016) but that the front tires are newer, indicating the previous owner correctly prioritized replacing steer tires for safety. He emphasizes that tires are a significant maintenance cost for such vehicles. The video concludes with a final exterior shot and a call to action for potential buyers to contact 'Motorhomes of Texas' for coach #734, mentioning the limited production numbers of Newell coaches.

Goal: Evaluate tire condition and remaining lifespan, and summarize overall vehicle value.

really cool i always check the date on the tires when i'm looking at these things you the michelins are seem to be the easiest to find as far as like the dot code and see it down here it's got a little just blah blah blah this number here in the back is what you're really looking for where it says 0320 that means that these tires were made in the third week of 20 i don't know i don't really pay attention to the first two but i want to know what the year is because generally from what i've gathered you got a five-year life span on the steer tires and seven on the tag if you're being generous some people say two to three for the front just because if you have a steer tire blow out that's really bad especially this has a 365's up front that's a big deal too having tires from 2020 this thing that is one area of maintenance that you would not have to worry about tires these things are ridiculously expensive i see these back tires are from 16 they're a little older than the fronts but that shows you that these people probably knew what they were doing because you always keep the newest tires on the front i'm really interested to see now that i've locked two through two 2005's how much different the 1011s are compared to this we'll give you a nice walk around here the slide out is open in the back here's that dryer vent i was telling you about looks like a it's fine well that does it for this one i think was interesting to look at um if this is something that you want to buy contact motorhomes of texas it's uh coach number 734 you see in the last three of the vin a lot of times if you look up um like newell coach number blah blah you'll be able to find info on it because there's not very many of these things out there they only make like roughly 30 of them a year so yeah we're gonna wrap it up on this one and move over to that one because we're gonna go in yearly order here so hit that subscribe button and don't miss the video coming up on that one and then that one and that one we'll see you over there
