What can it do? Testing a new mini skid steer

What happens here

The presenter uses a Bobcat S185 skid steer, equipped with forklift attachments, to lift and position a heavy grapple attachment (identified as a 'Frost Bite' brand) onto the bed of a black Ford F-150 pickup truck. The presenter explicitly mentions the risk of damaging the truck during this process due to the weight and awkward placement. The grapple is placed into the truck bed without the use of any straps, chains, or other load securement devices. The presenter attempts to 'gently tuck it in' and 'teeter it in' to fit it, relying solely on its placement within the bed rather than any fastening mechanisms. This segment serves as a cautionary example of how *not* to load heavy equipment for transport.

well before we can go so the first thing that i want to do is just to test how well this thing can scoop and maybe even load so the whole concept of this video came from the fact that i walked into a truck utilities company and found one of these dedicated sidewalk snow removal units kind of like a ventrac i think they call it an ssv or another unit that is out there these tinier units that have a dedicated blade on it but these units also have you know dedicated bride units they're set up for winter snow plowing but i wanted to know is there a viable option out there for guys that maybe want to use something year-round and that's when it dawned on me this may be it challenge accepted i'm not making a mistake the problem with the shorter box is you can't get everything and you need i got to get that somehow squeezed into the back of here and it looks like if i move these hoses over i may be able to just gently tuck it in ever so softly and sweetly into the back of my short bed truck i wish i had a long box how am i gonna do this let's see if we can hook the top one fork right there balance it over the side of the truck teeter it in worth a try and this is exactly why you see so many work trucks with the big dents on the side of it because guys think they can do this and then one thing goes wrong and it drops on it and i kept thinking of that the entire time i was like oh my god this is gonna fall off and wreck my truck this is exactly what happens so many times try to load over the side [Music] i hate doing stuff like this i really really do that slips and you guys know what you guys guys have seen him slip before so i use this truck for work but i don't plow with it and i don't troll trailers with it i haul equipment i haul gear i load up the back i use it for meetings i mean i use it for a lot of work just not the stuff you're typically used to seeing okay let's see how we did we got that tucked away nicely we got room i think we could fit more stuff in there
