Well that sucked

What happens here

During the continued demolition of the old retaining wall, the Daewoo 75V excavator unexpectedly uncovers a substantial and dense layer of rock backfill behind the existing structure. This rock extends several feet deep into the ground, indicating a more robust but improperly constructed original foundation than anticipated. The excavator, utilizing its specialized hydraulic clamp/grapple attachment, is then used to dig out and remove this heavy and compacted rock backfill. The ASV VT-70 Positrack skid steer loader works in conjunction, positioned to receive the excavated rock and transport it away from the demolition area. This discovery significantly alters the demolition strategy, shifting the focus from simple block removal to heavy rock excavation.

Goal: Remove dense rock backfill that was unexpectedly found behind the old retaining wall.
