WE HAD A CRAZY WIND STORM LAST NIGHT!

we're listening to josh at the same time and so we will get out of there all right everybody my one person in here how's it going if you hear a pinball machine going off in the background that's because logan fix it decided that this is the time that he needed to play pinball all right i'll apologize for that so i can see you're wrapping the stony ridge man i feel super bad for josh i've been talking with him over the last couple of days you know he texted me when he found out that he got covered and man such a bummer dude like you know i just had a friend's dad that passed away from covet i my uncle right now is in the hospital with covert my aunt his wife if she's home it's sick with covered man it's a bummer dude like this stuff it's just really kind of moving so let me tell you guys we had the craziest storm last night like it was apparently wild i didn't know how bad it was because i slept through it right but then i got up this morning and it just right away the first thing the very first thing freaked me out i walk out of my room i'm used to normal sounds you know like you you get in your groove in the morning it's 3 30 in the morning i'm awake and i hear this heartbeat sound right and it's from my kids um white noise maker and it's crazy man and i'm going what is that like it's kind of freaking me out i'm like why would they have put that on like if they didn't oh what's up logan fix it how's it going dude oh logan just likes to be called logan daddy has tried littlefixit logan fix it none of that's really sticking as you can tell with the grumpy angry kid all right you guys are awesome um josh said to come check me out so thank you very much for coming over um oh yeah i'm gonna talk about those in a minute do you want to talk about those yeah these are this one okay so the storm all right so i thought okay well we had a power bump well then i get on the main road to go to work and it's black and the cops are out yeah something so on our way to the internet all the street lights were they okay so even logan experienced it today all the street lights were out it was crazy like a tree had toppled over knocked over a bunch of power lines and killed the main strip where i live um that was just the beginning so then i show up i go to work right i work for a big airplane manufacturer here in seattle you can probably guess who it is um and the lights were just everything was out can you if you can imagine humongous humongous buildings going completely dark it is wild right you get there and there's absolutely zero lights on it kind of looks a little bit eerie like it is a little bit scary to be rolling around through there so we checked that out it was um you know as a facilities guy i had to go in and we were we're instantly like hooking up with the electricians seeing if people need things we're checking out pumps as plumbers because i'm a plumber we're checking out pumps uh making sure that things aren't tripped or overfilling and we did have to do some things and then we also shuttled some people around and it was a little bit wild um a lot of trees toppled it actually toppled over a power line broke a power pole completely off and had lines down in the road so there was this probably mile plus stretch of roadway that's right in the middle of everything that was closed down so that leads me to where i was talking to josh about this just a little while ago because i was telling about the storm and just how wild it was and like all the facebook posts that people are putting out there but then i had to take this way around that i never take and i'm like man what is that dude they're seriously is a couple of different like rundown rv homes okay i will i will tell them about that okay um you know five-year-olds man they love talking about what they're doing dude and so we beat king hippo we beat king hippo we've been playing old school nintendo all right so we beat king hippo the other day that was a lot of fun and then some guy named tiger man or tiger king or something beat us i maybe wasn't the tiger king all right he did it punches a lot but so back to this rv's situation right so there is literally right next to the fence there is this monstrous gaggle of rundown rvs in cars and i mean it was a nice little place where people walk their dog and then one day it was not and you're going what is going on there man like how does the city just allow people to just move in like this it's kind of crazy um and so then i'm driving around perimeter road like which is like at the top of this airport situation and we run into another one that was even bigger with more rv and you're just like things on jacks and boarded up like they've they've actually got them like the tires all boxed in and everything for insulation you're going dude like not only is it an eyesore but man where is our tax dollars going at this point right like that's just what i thought was weird hey dude what are you doing hmm i know you're blocking my face you are so i wanted to talk a little about the storm and then i also wanted to share a couple of things so i i actually had a company if you guys check if you guys have checked out my channel before um you know that i'm a lot i do a lot of home repair a lot of diy stuff like i'm a plumber by trade and i just like helping people out right so what uh what i'm looking at is i i did a tub shroom video very early on right with different um kind of hair stuff oh dude stoney ridge i love you dude this is my very first super chat like i'm actually really excited i um i don't know what happened a little while ago i was giving josh super chats and those sudden paypal didn't allow me to give any more super chats so i don't know what happened dude but dude you're welcome for being such a good buddy dude like really i mean you guys have seen josh a long time now right i've known him for a long time the dude is awesome like very very legit man he always just wants to teach something he is always about self improvement like just betterment of yourself and he just a great example and a really good friend dude like that's it super um dude and so i got so back to what i was saying is i actually i got a a sponsor i guess they actually reached out to me and said hey we'd really love to use the tub shroom video that you've already shot and i said okay yeah sure dude um you know send me a couple products and i'll hook it up so i want to show you guys a couple of those and then i want to show you a couple cool things that i found the other day that i really want to start restoring and working on too so the box is a little bit too big to put up in front of the screen because then you wouldn't see anything but check out this thing this right here is the toilet shroom this is a product i didn't even know they made it's some weird finagled toilet like toilet plunger i guess it's like an auger or a force you're like forcing poop down or something i don't know i'm really excited to use this i'm really excited to check it out and to do a video with it because i think that it will be i don't know what it's gonna be but but i was pretty excited they sent it to me i was like man i've always wanted to try one of these out i just never had one sorry about that light reflection man you gotta have good lighting right i don't know why people wanna see my face but they do um and then they also sent me a new like different tub shroom like the tub shroom ultra which this is like a stainless steel thing it's going to be cool i'm excited to try this out this plug you know we'll just see how some of this stuff works man and last but not least a um shower shroom right so they want you to take out the top of your drain and they want you to put this in the top of that and it's supposed to just help keep more hair out of your drain which is very cool i i mean it it very well could i don't 100 know how i'm going to like this it looks like it belongs in my kitchen sink but they say it belongs to my shower so that that this is some cool things just to check out right um so the other thing is then you're absolutely right josh that does not look like a bathroom tool actually let's pull that out do you want to pull this out of the box you want to show what people look like what this looks like okay we need a knife logan knows right here there is so this is the other thing that we're actually going to do like just grabbing a knife real quick i i found a couple of these old school knives online and i really i really just wanted to fix a couple of these up like this one i thought had a really cool design i mean it'll fit really well in my hand do some good work and this one too oh and logan just pulled out another one here and this bad boy this i think it's more like a machete um but it's not shaped like a machete it totally is like that crocodile dundee feel except if you can see right here it's got some really beat up it's got a really beat up handle right plastic and gnarly and so they put some tape on it at some point so i plan on really just going through this tearing it down i'm gonna build a new handle for it we're gonna get it all cleaned up and then i don't know what i'm gonna do with it maybe my best crocodile dundee impersonation i don't really know maybe we'll send it out to stony ridge farmer that yeah that that little one is it's totally an old hickory knife is old hickory a good knife brand like i don't really know i just seen it and thought it looked cool dude oh that's awesome okay cool somebody they are somebody said they really are a good knife that's cool that's awesome man old hickory then i'm i'm excited about it so check that this no it's attaching it oh this does attach onto there you want to show everybody how to do that righty tighty lefty loosey right like that dude yeah look at this guy tight and tight and tight oh dude all right another him to use little carving knives you use a big one okay well he uses a big one and so the teacher had just bought some new ones that kind of have like a butter knife top edge whenever i get one in i'll show it to you because we're going to order one for him here as well and he just so he can whittle right he's been collecting all these awesome sticks okay you're not carving with this right now no i'm sorry sorry i know don't be upset i know uh sandy you're right it does look a little scary this thing it's uh i'm interested right like traditional plunger like you're actually when you're when you're plunging a toilet with a traditional plunger you're actually forcing air into the toilet to kind of clear the clock so yeah so this maybe it's gonna force air but i don't know how much just excited to try it out um where's mom mom is mom is dealing with mabel right now all right so mabel is my 18 month old daughter and mabel has got this she's really hey calm down dude she's really been able to she's really started climbing here lately a lot so her favorite place to hang out has been the dining room table and i mean she's just all over the map right now and so we really have to watch her because if not like seriously i think she would try to climb on the ceiling if she somehow could um man so i mean that's that's kind of what we've got going on i actually you know i have another company speaking of things i have and there's a couple of my subscribers in here i know that um i just sent them some of these tub rellas so every so i sent them out to four different people and me and four different subscribers we're gonna we're gonna review these we're gonna test them out we're gonna get the likes and the don't likes of this thing and then i'm gonna shoot a video and we're going to talk about it i mean these guys they just wanted an honest review they um you know they wanted to compete with some peeps and i i was excited to help them out i think it's really cool small little family-owned business um and they they do this right here in the usa so it's pretty cool uh the best life in the house what up dude how you doing man um yeah you've been pretty big dude i get it dude i've been busy right i think i think we all have been busy lately man friggin you get that after christmas thing and you just get moving dude and that's that's what it is unfortunately apparently this weekend this toilet vlogger thing is gonna be focused new favorite prodding tool all right oh dude um yeah and speaking of the like plague the badgers dude awesome thank you for reminding me you just talked uh you just hooked me up a little bit he mentioned my toolbox so i got this new little toolbox right over here and i've kind of been slowly doing stuff to it so i'm to shoot a video doing a few upgrades to it right i want to put some new casters on it i'm going to line the drawers we're going to just get it hooked up a little bit better right it's a cheap toolbox but am i cheap because it was free right but um all in all i think when it's done you know spending a few bucks on some new tires um you know i got those see-throughs so i mean you know you'll just see it's gonna be awesome um make a pob on a moderator uh could i be your first moderator absolutely dude oh and make plague a badgers moderator oh yeah dude absolutely um i just don't know how to do that so i will totally do that after this and get it hooked up um yeah dude hey um my camp uh 45 hc dude please yeah check out some videos man you know i'm i just like to help people out like you'll see it as a as a growing trend in my channel right i love just showing people how to do things like i can't do everything right but i do i do plumbing pretty well um and then i also just little things that i'm doing around the home i want to share that with people and also like just cool little things that i'm getting into right this year i'm buying a crabbing boat um i'm going to try to get the stoney ridge farmer up here to do some crabbing with me i think that would be awesome and um i just want to show people how to do do things man i feel like you just you can do it all on your own like i've i've watched so many videos on youtube how to repair things or how to do stuff or just learning right like i'm not a farmer like i grew up on a farm as a kid and i kind of miss that stuff from time to time and so i watch josh's channel it's kind of nostalgic but it's also insanely helpful man i mean just from an educational standpoint you want to learn something like he's always just he's always teaching you something right or if i i need to know something about a tool or chances are he's done it right i mean he helped me with the first chainsaw i'm excited i've i've actually been looking at buying a chainsaw because i have a couple of trees i want to cut down and i'm debating you know i don't really have a lot of property i've got a couple of trees so maybe i just need a little one or maybe i'll just gonna borrow my neighbor and i don't know um oh so he's telling me how to to do this real quick so let's see here if i tap his name on the screen um let's see here this is women's new toy um add moderator okay sweet see right here this is logan's new toy and logan now has a weird style plunger for a new toy i don't know man there's not too many kids i know there's not too many parents i know that led their kid at three start using a drill right like my my son's favorite store for years was going to the home depot and going to lowe's we called it the big hammer store right and so we would go and you know they used to before the virus they used to have where you could test out drills and you'd be able to drill screws in and stuff and we'd stay there for a half hour man just letting him drill and drill you know just button drilling screws and stuff kid ate it up and so he's always wanting to do cool stuff and we've done a couple cool projects and there's gonna be more um my brother my brother's actually down in antarctica right now and i'm really hoping that when he comes back next year we're gonna be we're gonna build a tree house for logan in the backyard and it's gonna be big and it's going to be awesome and you're supposed to be slide down and there might be a slide yeah and a swing who knows we're going to do all kinds of cool stuff back there i think i got this really big pine tree in my backyard and we're going to make it rain all right we're gonna do some cool stuff back there no we're actually making it a square um tell us about living in antarctica bro so i did you know i um i've spent three i've only spent one year or i've only spent about the last 10 minutes of my life getting the plunger thrown in my face i'm just super glad that it's brand new and out of the box okay hey stop stop at the plunger dude uh mom's waving him on and he's like i'm having too much fun so i spent three seasons in antarctica right i went down there i before that how i got to antarctica was i was on my way to afghanistan after i got out of the military i said you know i was hanging out with a lot of military guys that were still active duty and all of them were leaving and getting deployed um i wasn't in the best place in my life i needed to do something and i felt like i needed to get out and it just was going to give me a good opportunity to go serve and help out a little bit so i went to afghanistan and while i was in processing in texas i met this guy i just had dinner with him i talked to him for probably one meal 30 minutes and then that was it and i'm going to tell you like that guy he changed my life forever man he said you know you're the type of person dude you're just you're a cool dude he's like you ever want to go check out somewhere cool he's like you should go to antarctica and he says you go to myrtle station you should go hang out i think you're really going to like it and so i kept it in the back of my mind and i was out in california at one point a few years later and i was backpacking yosemite and i said you know maybe i'm going to try to go to antarctica and it was awesome like if you've ever had an interest in you you're a trades person or you just um there's all kinds of stuff to do down there right look it up like check out the antarctic program i mean you really you want to check something cool out man it's cool i i and i'm maybe i'm a little biased too because i met my wife down there right and i met some really amazing people down there and i have this lovely family and you know i mean scott had an interesting plan for me and i'm very grateful for that um let's let's check out some more kids in the plungers i just ordered my meat birds oh dude awesome awesome dude yeah like you know when i was out at josh's that was one of my favorite things and i know he might have thought i was a little crazy about it but every morning that's all i wanted to do i wanted to get up i wanted to go check out the meat birds the little chickies man they're so cool and they make such good little noises that little chirp shirt man is so they're just fun um and actually i
