We ask Dumb questions at YANMAR !

What happens here

The presenter operates a Yanmar skid steer in a 'mud hole' filled with heavy, wet Georgia clay. He describes the machine's power and stability as he pushes the large pile of dirt, attempting to challenge its limits. Despite the difficult conditions, the machine maintains its power and does not stall, showcasing its robust design and engine capabilities in demanding environments. He emphasizes the stability of the Yanmar over other equipment in similar situations.

Goal: The presenter demonstrates the power and stability of a Yanmar skid steer by pushing a large mound of heavy, wet Georgia clay.

need. I always get in trouble at these events cuz I always do something that I shouldn't. So I'm going to try not to today. Let's just run her. Here's Bluetooth radio, everything else we need. [Music] Parking brake. This is that special button that self-regulates. This is it right here. You got your ride control and you got the rest of them. Looks like we're in some clay. [Music] Shoot. I'm not even fully throttled up. And she just goes. I want to wheelie it so bad. Just want to put it up on the two front bogeies and just go. But no, I'll be nice. Still want to do it. Heavy wet Georgia clay. I They'd never allow me back in if I did that. [Music] She doesn't stop. That's a good amount. So, what I'm demonstrating here is you're going to see me lift that bucket about halfway up. I'm going forward and I'm stopping. And if you watch, you're going to see how stable this machine is. If I was in any other piece of equipment, when I went forward and stopped, I normally can get the back end to come up and then I can hold it and keep running with it. I've done it in wheeled machines and track machines. It's not tough to do, but it's almost impossible to do in an ASV and a Yanmar cuz you're just stuck to the ground. You can't get one of these to wheelie if your life depended on it. ASVs are so freaking stable. Man by rights Yanmar though. I can't get this to do it. I'm going to try. I got to go higher. There we go. We didn't really wheelie it, but we at least got her to bounce. That's how stable these things are. Another cool thing. This has automatic two-speed. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. So, you can kick this. You can control where you shift, where it shifts from single speed into two speed automatically. So, instead of actually clicking a button and activating two-speed, it'll actually go into it on its own.
