Assemble and Secure Pillar Base

What happens here

Begin assembling the pillar by carefully placing the first layer of cut blocks onto the designated base, such as a deck surface. Apply a generous bead of construction adhesive to the mating surfaces of the blocks and any base they are attached to. Ensure the blocks are level and plumb using a spirit level. Once positioned, use a cordless drill/driver to secure the blocks with long construction screws, driving them through the blocks into underlying support structures or into adjacent blocks for enhanced stability. Repeat for subsequent layers, ensuring each block is aligned and securely fastened.

Goal: The cut and shaped blocks are assembled to form the core of the pillar, secured with construction adhesive and screws for maximum stability.
