Using An Airless Paint Sprayer. Paint Sprayer Instructions. How to use a Titan Sprayer.

What happens here

To prepare for operation, pour the paint into a 5-gallon bucket, which provides greater stability compared to smaller containers. Place the sprayer's intake tube (uptake) securely into the paint. Ensure the sprayer's power is off and the prime/spray valve is in the 'prime' position. Position an empty bucket nearby to collect the liquid purged through the prime tube.

Goal: Set up the paint supply and sprayer's initial configuration for priming.

Tools and materials

  • 5-Gallon Bucket — To hold the paint for the sprayer
  • Empty Bucket — To collect purged liquid from the prime tube
  • Intake Tube — To draw paint from the bucket into the sprayer
  • Prime/Spray Valve Titan — Set to 'prime' mode for this step
  • Titan 440 Impact Airless Sprayer Titan — The main piece of equipment
  • Paint — The material to be sprayed

really simple. Now, to operate this airless sprayer, obviously, you got to have some paint. So, I got some paint right here. And I always like to put my paint in a five gallallon bucket because the paint itself when it's sitting on the ground, it's a lot more sturdier if it's in a five gallon bucket cuz it's got a lot larger base. So, I always stick my paint into a five gallallon bucket and I set it on the ground. I got this thing on this bench right here to make it easier to show you how to run this thing. So now I got this thing, my paint's in my five gallon bucket. All I'm going to do is with my power off thing plugged in, I'm going to drop my intake right into my gallon of paint. And then I'm going to turn my unit on and it's going to start taking in paint through the unit right here. And I'll start running it through my gun. If it um keeps cycling and cycling and cycling and it's got a air bubble in it, then we'll actually purge it through this prime tube. So, I got it all set up in my paint. Going to power this thing on.
