Unboxing and quick review of the Northstar Honda pressure washer..see it in action!! A great tool!

hey guys it's Josh Stoney Ridge farmer welcome to the farm vlog today today we are at the garage door and we're gonna unbox and put together this pressure washer 2.5 gallons per minute 3000 psi Northstar pressure washer with a Honda motor on it this is the commercial grade pressure washer I'll post a link down below if you want to check one of these guys out I just want to unbox it show you what you can expect and we'll be using it on the farm a whole lot I'm not sure if we're gonna have enough daylight today to use this thing or not but hopefully we do depends on how hard it is to put together so let's unbox this guy and put him together a little unboxing Honda pressure washer alright [Music] [Laughter] first of all guys let me tell you I've never owned a pressure washer I've used pressure washers I've borrowed pressure washers but I've never owned a pressure washer this thing comes in two different boxes I'm told that this box is and we're gonna be careful opening it by the way I'm told that this box is the handle so got some paper there and in this box is exactly what they said the handle for the pressure washer we're gonna set these things to the side gently as we go next item the hose for the pressure washer next item is the gun so here is the little quick connect and here's the little Quick Connect for the hose pretty awesome and we've got another different kind of wand I want to say gun but really I think the technical term is wand this would be the wand and this end connects to that pretty cool I've got a little rubber little rubber washers there guys this is a high end pressure washer okay just want to clarify this is a pressure washer that's over five hundred dollars okay we bought a good pressure washer you know why we bought a good pressure washer because we want one for 15 years we don't want one for 15 months okay so we bought Honda and we know Honda motors are good we know the guts of this pressure washer is good and we know it's got a great warranty with it let's open it up see what we got in the box it's like Christmas every time I open a new toy me and my wife decided that we're gonna get Christmas presents for each other I'm gonna get my Christmas present she's gonna get hers well I told her I wanted a pressure washer guess what I want it now I don't want it at Christmas we got to wash your tractor we've been working out here in the fields in the dirt and grime and stuff and I want to use this guy to get the tractor clean it's gross it's got hydraulic fluid all over it grease it just needs to be cleaned really good before I put it up for the winter and I'm not really putting it up for the winter but before I service it for the winter well let's open our own up here and see what we got got paperwork got some goodies in there the paperwork looks like my tips I'll show you my tips and the paperwork we'll set it down gently because we our power equipment we don't love cardboard guys save these cardboard pieces here you can make good targets out of them all right good cardboard lots of good packaging whoo man this thing's sweet hold on let me this thing's awesome let me bring this over here so here's what we got it's already basically assembled we're gonna pull this piece out and we may have to cut the box because this is a heavy heavy piece of equipment all right let's see how heavy this thing is I'm bracing myself thinking it's going to be really heavy but oh that's yeah not too bad right nice so here it is guys got your gas tank it does not come preloaded with oil so you have to put oil we have some genuine honda oil not exactly sure how much oil it's going to take so it's gonna take a little bit of reading here let's roll it around a little bit and show you what we've got if there's your Honda motor or here's your fuel tank air filter muffler these are pneumatic tires okay guys these northstar pressure washers with this Honda motor are unbeatable unstoppable I've read lots of reviews I got this thing because I know it's what I need to get the job done here on the farm later on in a future vlog we'll be testing it out but for now basically we're just gonna assemble this thing okay I feel like I'm rushed and I'm sorry if it seems like I'm rushed because it's getting dark on me and I got to get it done so let's get her done okay so we're gonna open our zip lock bag here see what all we've got I'm sure that their pieces assemble this thing plenty of instructions serial number definitely register your product to make sure that you get the full warranty owner's manual [Applause] all your little tips with the quick attach are in here in this piece a little mounting bracket here I guess that's to hold your wand I don't want to say gun you know why I don't want my video to be d monetized by YouTube please a lot of my video has been getting D monetized because I say things that aren't family-friendly I don't get it but I put the ducks out on the pond the other day in my video was d monetized in case you guys don't know what D monetized means it means that YouTube normally will pay a creator a little bit it's like anywhere from 80 cents to three dollars four dollars per thousand views and it helps to offset the cost of buying all this equipment and all this time I mean to edit this video and get this stuff online it takes me two and a half three hours per video so it takes some time and it helps to compensate us for our time a little bit I don't know why YouTube's doing this to me anyway enough crying farm cry guys pretty easy assembly here okay you got a half inch boat that holds this little thing on right here I don't know what you'd call it the hose hanger that's what you hang your hose by we're gonna go ahead and tighten all the bolts up really good this is actually half-inch can't beat that half inch American Wow Northstar products guys just so everybody knows I'm not gonna fire this thing up until I read the manual guys and I really suggest that you do the same thing I don't know how bad you geek out on your power equipment but I really really want to read the manual on this and make sure I'm doing everything right so that I get the life expectancy out of my power equipment that I really want and I will not beyond the shadow of a doubt put anything other than on ethanol gasoline in this thing don't put that ethanol gas don't put that 93 octane it doesn't matter it's still 10% ethanol which means 10% water guys I'll do a vlog here in the future sometime we're going to take regular gas and with ethanol in it and then we're going to take racing gas and we're going to take non ethanol gas and we're going to put them in court jars and we're going to sit them on at room temperature and watched them separate I've seen it happen water separates from the ethanol gas you're putting water in this engine and it's not gonna work all right so the next step we're gonna do is we're gonna cut the string carefully on our hose we've got the string off of our hose we have our Quick Connect right here okay this is a quick disconnect we're gonna hook it up right here to our pressure washer go right here boom hoses connected this end right here goes to the wand so the way this works is this little connection goes right into here just the same and basically got the quick connect quick connect goes in boom so the way this goes I was trying to hang it up here and it doesn't do that it goes right into it just like this I mean there's an open spot go in tip it up and it sits there this basically holds it free up off the ground so I've got some reading to do guys I wanted to talk to you I wanted to show you unboxing what you can expect we've got to put some non ethanol gas in this thing I've got to get it rocking and rolling I'm gonna read up on my owner's manual I'm not really sure what this hose is for it somebody tell me leave me a comment guys click that like button give me a thumbs up tell me what you think and I'll product guys Honda if Honda made a chainsaw I'd want a Honda chainsaw I can't say enough about Honda let me tell you there is dirt on these plastic pieces that's been on here since the first time we took the Gator out regular car wash does not cut the mustard here okay this thing is a powerful piece of machinery look at that impressive now I can end the video guys ladies if you're looking for a
