Remove Hitch from Receiver

What happens here

When the hitch is no longer needed, you can remove it from your vehicle. First, remove the receiver hitch pin by detaching its securing cotter pin or lock mechanism. Once the pin is completely out, firmly grasp the Pennington hitch and carefully slide it straight out of the receiver tube. Store the hitch in a safe and dry location to protect it from weather and damage.

Goal: Detaching the hitch from the vehicle for storage or when not in use.
