Construct and Prepare Custom Tracing Jig

Two tips in one! One, if you are paid by the hour. Two, if you are paid by the job! 🤣
What happens here
To efficiently and accurately trace a curve, prepare or acquire a custom tracing jig. As demonstrated in the video, this jig can be constructed from a block of wood (e.g., a 2x4 cut to a suitable length) with two L-shaped metal brackets attached to one side. These brackets act as guides, sliding along the curved edge of the structure (like a pool coping). A pencil is then positioned and secured on the opposite side of the wooden block. The critical setup involves ensuring that the distance from the pencil tip to the outer edge of the metal brackets precisely matches the desired width or offset of the paver section that needs to be cut (in this example, 8 and a quarter inches). This precise measurement is essential for creating an accurate and consistent curved line.
Goal: A custom-made wooden jig, equipped with metal brackets and a pencil, is introduced as an efficient tool for accurately tracing curved lines on pavers.
