Sand the Wood Surface

What happens here

Once the majority of the old finish has been scraped off, use an orbital sander, specifically an Ecosan 3x4 sander as shown, connected to a dust extractor, to thoroughly sand the entire table surface. Start with a coarser grit sandpaper (e.g., 80 or 100 grit) to remove any stubborn remaining finish or minor imperfections, then progress to finer grits (e.g., 120, 180, 220 grit) to achieve a smooth, even surface. Ensure all visible stripper residue and old finish are gone, and the wood grain is exposed and smooth to the touch.

Goal: After stripping, sand the entire wood surface with an orbital sander to remove any remaining finish and smooth the wood for the new application.
