This project guides you through the process of installing and finishing new trim around an exterior window. It starts with preparing the existing window frame by cleaning up old sealant and obstructions. Next, custom trim pieces are cut and shaped using various saws and a router. These pieces are then securely attached around the window with a nail gun. The seams are caulked and nail holes filled to create a smooth surface, followed by masking and painting the new trim. The final steps involve removing the masking tape and applying a last pass of caulk for a perfect, weather-sealed finish.
