Trying out a John Deere Skiddy! 4K

are we limiting it to here to here this is your entryway and then you get a bigger area over here okay oh yes these things are obviously the outside points and then from that far stake over there to that far stake over there it's just a straight line okay of what is all needing to come up all right so all right so we get to play in the dirt here for a minute but before we do I got Brandon how you doing Brandon how you doing good thanks so you're with p and K right yep all right so can you walk me through this model that we're going to be looking at sure yeah we can do that all right so it's a John Deere 333g what can you tell me about it well it's one of our larger track frame machines um this particular one's got the zigzag track pattern does a little bit better and snow and cleans out well in the dirt okay the biggest thing with this is the lifting capacity if it's far more Superior than any other machine out there really it's like a mini Dozer okay it does a lot of does a lot of work and does a great job so I see you got the counterweight kid on it is that stock or is that is that an aftermarket that you put on if you could order them however you want basically with the different attachments if you're gonna be doing a lot of lifting you can do it that way so this one so this one with the counterweight kids really designed to lift heavier pellets and have your material up front because it can handle it correct the main access points are right here you checked all your fluid levels your oil diesel this one does run on Def so you got your DEF tank right here okay you fill up the def one tank to every tank of fuel so you don't forget so it's a one to one ratio you can remove these side panels it gives you full access to the whole entire machine here the cabs I don't have a wrench with me today but the 10 millimeter one on each side you can flip the whole cab up the body of it 100 what is this 100 horsepower you said so here you got your backup camera and this is all your display panels of the instrument stuff like that uh push button start this particular unit is equipped with high flow so if you're gonna run any concrete Breakers or anything like that um it's also got um a setting on it where you can have full power and back and back the RPMs down so it's not as touchy at the joystick it just keeps it from jerking around on it quite a bit oh nice so if you have a heavy load and it's a sensitive load and you don't want to be bouncing around and dial it back from here and you can dial all the way back to one percent if you're running a trencher or really maximum power maximum power but best sensitivity for what you need okay cool well that's it I think we need to start firing it up and put it to work then right sounds good Safety First make sure you put your seatbelt on okay so will this fire without the seat belt it will oh okay are we clear oh okay [Music] okay so full disclaimer I haven't ran a John Deere skiddy in probably 20 plus years a couple decades and Blake when's the last time you ran a camera oh you know it's been a couple years all right so Blake's gonna run the camera and I'm gonna run the skinny so if things guys let's go for a ride green means go turn your parking brake off Hydraulics are activated foot throttle control we're using a joystick one of the things right away I mean this is a machine I've never operated before she smoke right out of the gate there's no Herky jerky the controls are easy to use on this thing and it works even with the doorknob fully latched there we go [Music] let me activate my controls look at that throwback boom boom lifts up fast throwback so when you want to flick a pile back into your bucket she's got you the controls themselves our intuitive [Music] I'm trying to leave much out of here for these guys but all this organic material does have to eventually go up they're gonna you know I tease that John Deere I used to own a John Deere broke my both my elbows in the John Deere years ago [Music] same thing right [Music] it's off [Music] one of the things about this trailer we're loading here nice eyes so you're gonna you're not gonna see your material you're gonna tend to want to throw a lot more material on her [Music] a lot of curl back on that bucket clear some of this stuff out over here you do love a bucket with a lot of curl back my kitty cat my cat skid loader does not have that curl back and I miss that the ASV does have that I think I'm gonna sell it kitty cat though but what do you guys think I should buy should I look at getting a job [Music] to get something else you know I consider it kind of my job to test different stuff all that you guys don't normally get to see but put them all ears [Music] she just go 100 controls on it are so smooth easy intuitive the power it just it just goes I mean it had no hesitation no sense of delay whatsoever it just just cut right through it it just cut right through it plus the cool thing with these two is you can adjust your control sensitivity yeah that's what Brandon was saying a lot of Manufacturers you can't control that sensitivity of this you can make it run just how you want it to where did Brandon go let's go Gotta Throw a let's go Brandon in and over again uh let's go into the cab and let you ride with us and see how this thing here Ben will you hold this the screen goes black it's still running so one of the things I'm going to do is let go of the steering wheel here just watch she just she trailers like a trailer should trailer just straight away it's straight on and it's comfortable it's really almost I mean I love the fact that it's big and it's tall and I can see it because otherwise it'd be one of those trailers he forget is back there now I'm going to close my back window you can legitimately hear my the the fuel can rattle actually I can't reach it you can actually hear my uh do you hear that rattling that's my fuel pump that is not the actual trailer [Music] all right then it's right behind your head if you want to grab the back part of the window get that rattle sound out of there let's let these guys just listen all right Ben's got his window open I got my window open you could hear Ben's phone dinging more than I can hear the trailer rattling I guess we'll have to is it lunchtime or something else in the trailer so you can actually hear what's behind you and you've got some stuff coming down the pipeline so tell me about it you've got a telescoping uh Place coming out right so we'll get the telescopic here on all of our dump trailers here by by the fourth quarter okay um desperate hydraulic disc brakes okay a lot of toolboxes on flatbeds you know like the chain uh train racks Donuts racks toolboxes air rides and some other other cool features that have not Liberty the chair right now but we'll we'll expose them here in any TDA and you are coming out with a tandem so you're gonna have a set of Tandem just like on a dump truck right that is correct okay it's out it's actually already available for order it is available now okay all right well that's it you guys you heard about it she's handling like a charm so I'm breaking right now ER to keep it down no common sense you can just pull it down with the with the cylinder you can pull it down a little bit foreign get the stuck dirt out of here I just that's just minor yep oh yeah a little bit here and there all right guys we forgot to show you the tarp and that is a pretty important part of it because it is part of just the overall process now you guys also make a little heavier Duty type too right yeah I mean this is heavy duty than what a normal tarp would be no yep just hook her up that's as simple as that tighten it down in your rat you got a ratchet system and you're you're good to go disconnector from the top all right [Music] thank you she's done so she rides up gets in gets locked into place and we're good to go all right and this trailer is Towing like a dream the truck's not overheating hasn't climbed up in temperature at all and the trailer let go and [Music] this trailer just pulls just like it's nobody's business everything goes it's just it's just a very smooth driving trailer
