Tripled Prowood beam with an extra support, whats that for? 🧐
What happens here
Before beginning the installation, ensure all necessary materials and tools are prepared. This includes having the lumber (such as "ProWood" treated lumber, as seen in the video), a suitable cordless drill with impact driving capability, appropriate deck screws, and most importantly, a custom-cut wooden spacer block. The spacer block should be cut to the exact desired width of the gap you want between your lumber pieces. Ensure your cordless drill is fully charged.
Goal: Gather and ready all components for the lumber spacing and fastening process.
Tools and materials
- Cordless Drill DeWalt — Driving screws into the lumber
- Wooden Spacer Block N/A — Ensuring consistent spacing between lumber pieces
- Deck Screws — Securing the lumber to the support structure
- Treated Lumber ProWood — The primary building material for the structure
