Execute Consistent Spacing and Fastening Technique

Tripled Prowood beam with an extra support, whats that for? π§
What happens here
Begin by placing the custom-cut wooden spacer block firmly against the edge of the previously installed or starting piece of lumber. Next, position the new piece of lumber directly against the spacer block, ensuring it is flush and creates the desired gap. While holding the new lumber firmly in place, use the cordless drill to drive deck screws through the new lumber and into the underlying support structure (e.g., joists or beams). Drive at least two screws per support point for secure attachment. Once the lumber is fastened, carefully remove the spacer block. Repeat this entire process β placing the spacer, positioning the next lumber piece, fastening it, and removing the spacer β for each subsequent piece of lumber, working your way across the entire span.
Goal: Install each piece of lumber with precise, uniform spacing.
