Mount the Mantle

What happens here

With the adhesive applied, carefully lift the mantle and align the drilled holes with the exposed lag screw dowels on the wall. Gently but firmly slide the mantle onto the dowels. Apply steady pressure until the mantle is fully seated and flush against the wall. The adhesive will cure and create a strong bond, securely holding the mantle in its floating position. Allow adequate curing time for the adhesive before placing any significant weight on the mantle.

Goal: Carefully align the mantle's holes with the wall-mounted lag screw dowels and slide the mantle into place until it sits flush against the wall.
