Apply Adhesive to Mantle Holes

What happens here

Using a caulk gun, apply a generous amount of high-strength construction adhesive into each of the drilled holes in the back of the mantle. The adhesive will help secure the mantle to the lag screw dowels, preventing any wobble and making the installation more robust. Ensure full coverage within each hole.

Goal: Fill the freshly drilled holes in the back of the mantle with a strong construction adhesive to ensure a permanent and secure bond.
