Tractor Driving Posts for Kentucky 4 Board Fencing
What happens here
Before driving posts, mark the desired spacing and depth. The posts will be installed 7 feet 11 inches apart (center-to-center), except for end posts which are 7 feet. Boards are planned to be staggered to avoid all seams falling on the same post, enhancing structural integrity. For consistent post height and depth, a PVC pipe is marked at 56 inches (for a board fence) and used as a guide for how deep to drive each post. This PVC pipe also features a wood screw on the end to help loosen the post driver's chain easily. Always wear hearing protection when operating the post driver.
Goal: Mark post locations and ensure readiness for driving.
