Wireless Deer Fence

What happens here

Rachel Betzen, owner of Wireless Deer Fence, presents her unique and innovative product designed to keep deer out of yards and gardens humanely. The system uses stakes with scented resin placed on top, which are installed in the garden. Deer are attracted to the smell and the blue color of the stakes. When they approach to investigate, they touch the top of the stake and receive a small static electricity shock. This harmless but startling sensation causes the deer to run off and not return, effectively protecting plants. The product was invented by Rachel's veterinarian father, who utilized his understanding of electricity and animal behavior. Each stake requires two AA batteries.
