What happens here
Adam Seybold from Ring Power CAT showcases the CAT 303 Excavator, a 7500-pound machine designed for precision and power. It offers a 119-inch dig depth and comes standard with a 20-inch bucket. With a 5-foot width, this excavator is ideal for landscapers and septic companies, providing both agility in tight spaces and sufficient strength for demanding tasks. An optional 550-pound counterweight can be added to enhance power and digging capacity. The unit is equipped with a push blade, and an angle blade is available as an option. It features an enclosed cab, which is also an option for smaller models like the 301.7 mini excavator, ensuring operator comfort. Auxiliary hydraulics are standard, enabling easy attachment of accessories like a thumb. A unique 'stick steer' option allows the machine to be controlled like a skid steer using the left joystick, simplifying operations like grading and backfilling. The engine bay, accessed from the rear, includes a DEF fluid tank and a battery shut-off switch (a switch, not a key, for durability). The engine is lowered for easier maintenance, and the radiator is strategically placed on top to exhaust hot air upwards during regeneration, preventing operators from being exposed to hot air from the rear.
Goal: Explore the features and benefits of the compact and versatile CAT 303 Excavator.
