Remove Masking and Inspect

What happens here

Once the final coat of paint has sufficiently dried to the touch, carefully remove all masking materials, including painter's tape, plastic sheeting, and masking paper, from around the fireplace. The video shows partial removal of tape from the fireplace opening. Remove the floor protection as well. Dispose of all used masking materials and any leftover paint responsibly. Inspect the freshly painted fireplace for any imperfections, such as drips or missed spots, and touch them up as necessary to ensure a perfect finish. The painter is seen reviewing his work at the end, confirming the job is complete.
