Tool wars- Harbors Freights Best "knock off" Drills VS Home Depot

today so Stanley came to town we wanted to do something super exciting what could we do with Stanley that to say they've got to tell this stuff playing we're gonna throw him in a river all kinds of stuff but we're like you know what let's go what jewel do you think we're just got to talk about drills and I'm like what do you think would be the Bob and he's like I don't know man and then he started thinking about it I called Eric what Jill do you think he's like to walk like the wall do they know that's not his number one brand that's not what you're what I think and I thought you know well the Bauer but so what we're gonna do now is we're gonna go to harbor freight and we're gonna go to Home Depot we're gonna pick out our drills we're gonna have a crazy non-scientific tool fight just for fun just for fun how many monkeys are there there's grease monkey gas monkey dirt monkey dan is going with Milwaukee dan thinks Milwaukee and barks - Dan's obviously a fan of the red would be like the drop tested he dropped from a house I think Milwaukee probably won't actually break I think Bridget will so when you say break we talked about the housing housing the housing the health care because I've heard people complain about that I'm sure they dropped it when they do return it they don't tell me they dropped it but oh look the bottom is correct the battery doesn't slide in anymore he probably dropped it maybe have dropped it it was a spontaneously crash didn't just spontaneously cracks okay you know oh cars Milwaukee you don't really see that as much all right so we do we burn these up first and then drop them to see when the housing cracks like how high up you can go before the housing cracks because one's gonna be yeah you know make the last thing the break test I'd be is the master of drills so this one yeah it's got a variable speed 900 rpm 21 torque settings 18 volt 3 2 3 2 5 hour charge time I don't see where the you see where the what what's the torque on it now is it not yet to also right or is it you is it lefty my I am alright it's $20 drill is 20 bucks $20 right there next - you want to go with the Hercules no actually the next cheaper one would be the Bauer 69 yeah go so $69 you guys I picked the Bauer I don't know why I like the group of the Bauer I just like everything class our quick story on the Bauer we were at her before I was at Harbor Freight and I some kid you know I started talking to him and he said that hey you know you think you think you're in those pro two of you guys loves adding stuff Vinnie's got a cutout all right he was playing like a jigsaw and a Jill his mom was with him and she's like oh he's saved about summer and mowing lawns or stuff to get this stuff and he was just so excited to be to create with this tool so um you know I love to abash Bauer Harbor Freight whatever but it has its place and honestly suits for the money this thing's good plus they have this crazy warranty thing and we'll talk about it so the only ways I was talking there sorry yeah that's the one I paid ok so the next cheapest one the one that I picked out I can send this is they actually the best one that Harbor Freight sells because I asked them just to give me the best one they sell that would be this one now the couple stats that honestly I don't care about some of you guys made but this one supposedly has three times three times longer run time which i meanwhat than one that's the thing just nineteen seventies thank you yeah so you know and to me that doesn't really make that much of a difference cuz you always keep one even though is it brushless it is a two and a half amp hour 20 volt and I don't see where I didn't talk about the Barrett Buster's I don't think the Bowers muster none of these are broad with iam drill driver so great question that I can't answer now let's brushless them is it how do you know with a motor you can see the motor spin yeah it's brushless is that brush little that's now this is akin to the motor yeah that's a can motor in there so wow this is brushless that's funny they don't say that on there she doesn't say it anywhere around here alright next I just want the DeWalt no reason why I guess Harbor Freight they picked those ones and there was nothing left so again I'm not really here in Milwaukee there was not Harbor Freight oh they went home people I have no idea why I later um and you pick the Ridgid again I pick rigid for my favorite from Home Depot right so favorite from Harbor Freight this is brushless 18 volts it's just gonna came with two batteries $169 I believe was it yeah so in price point we're talking this was tucked away it was expensive it's under 200 169 how much was your her that I am 1999 69 and 20 $20 dollar so if this thing beats this we got problems I doubt it honestly so let's do a quick rundown the chores we're gonna test we're gonna try you guys we're not doing runtime test cuz there's all different kinds of batteries result different kinds of you know and if you're in the rigid platform chances are you're gonna have more rigid boundaries you know so we're not gonna do that what we're gonna do is talk about ergonomics we're gonna talk about we're gonna drill some holes with helping of a drill bit and a half speed inch and a half spade we're gonna drill that through and then just see how they go through and then we're going to we gotta head to head him head to head them and then we're also gonna do a drop test to see how high up before the the housings grab yeah so yeah so the head to head will be first so ones that have protection in them are gonna probably survive longer than ones that do not but that's about it so well let's get to Dan with his mouth open all right first up unboxing the grill master it's kind of a piece of crap yeah it just doesn't have much to it so I gotta get this thing charged up come on that's it let's let's go to be hit let's go see if it charges up okay that's it all right let's check out the next one Wow all right you know get a case for 20 bucks but for $169 you do and you get a bit holy crap that's actually kind of nice all right so you get two batteries with this rigid okay that's actually pretty nice Wow slides in okay let's go charge this one up let's do a few looks let's crack this one open let's see what we got for what was this one ninety bucks ninety bucks we just cracked open the rigid for 169 so hurt you so the rigid came with it two batteries what size were those do you remember oh well there's one in it 18 bulbs so this is a 20 volt that's an 18 volt and 2 amp power and power doesn't matter it's the volts that matter for the amps is you how long your battery's gonna last yeah mmm just feels good I think the rigid feels a little better yeah it really definitely feels better if you put put your hands on balls once we have better quality in the what he's going on really honestly I don't know I like this one okay close your eyes close your
