Building a street legal -SUPER CHEAP JEEP KNOCKOFF. The Mahindra Roxor 4k

we're following a Rubicon so we're gonna see how well this keeps up with the movement and the guy driving the Rubicon is crazy you've been down this road far too long he lifts you're low behind but husband on the road we are in the probably one of the first Mahindra the street-legal Mahindra watchers in the United States that right Dan well yeah I mean there's people that never made them treat me go but yeah this one pretty so we're totally legal insured we could drive anywhere ever five okay so you took a standard Mahindra roxor just to be clear to a street-legal vehicle because you can't drive these on the streets we look like a deep-sea case up right and a lot of people confuse them for them so you could probably get by with sneaking one on the street or crossing the street but you couldn't man take it down the road burning like the time right weiners ways to do it you know I chose the easiest path but like it's fun it's heavy remember when you first came out we got pulled over yeah do they know they're like wow that's cool and it's a diesel only so they only come in diesel now these are a popular vehicle in India right but they haven't been really widely accepted here in the United States yeah and the ones that are here are only for trail riding right okay and speaking of trail riding we got some of that coming up in fact we're gonna put this toe to toe up against a you're taking a UTV or an off-road only vehicle on the hunt right but it's offered only by you know their standards you know what I'm saying you go right but there are only only please Mahindra says so it's really a Jeep and street-legal all in India yeah but those streets are all do runs well yeah but I mean how did this tribe up it drives like a regular cut-and-dry well I don't know I'm not going to say that it's not like a refined car like the one behind us right but I mean if we just shut up and listen yes what did you bet lookit it's not all over the wall over I mean this thing the steering is tight all right so this stock look at this I mean she's not going anywhere and this isn't a school road buy a TV so we're in forgiveness and I can't believe this 16 no you make it street-legal yeah Contego guide Burton flakes you're going to want to throw is a company called dirt legal dirt legal calm you got they will get you through the whole paperwork process the legalities that all that paperwork and they also have a whole section of roxor parts that you can get from them I got the actual paperwork all done through them I got the turn signal through that person stop we have like three different versions of dessert I got the grill from them so it makes it look more then I use the company called pivot racing and favorite racing will be I set them up the computer and what they did just coming right out of the factory the Mahindra rod centers kind of tune down this was super dog yeah all man it's stuck it's still kind of putting its back now but and compared to my CJ let me we're talking about an 80 some horsepower vehicle it's not going to compare to 150 to 200 horsepower on road my old Jeep what do you feel like wow you did a good job restoring this your eyesight I wouldn't think oh well because it's just this too nice it's on its it's not I mean it doesn't go crap I've driven with my blinker on this whole time I know yeah that's the thing you guys can get a switch blinker or a per turn blinker I'm still finalizing this right now we're on a switch blinker so let's talk about this dirt legal can they convert any UTV to a street how much does it cost you to have them well it's all different with every vehicle and I believe it's riding around with their price to $500 starts at 500 let me taxes one second 500 and off it depends on and stay what you got to go through and like I said it could be cheaper it could be more I worked with them on this project so okay so they got a website just go there if you guys are looking to do it hurt a vehicle that's a place to start with then you've got an ad clinkers you had to add a windshield in this case yes I got a window you can also get that for dirt ego I just got mine up Amazon we got a make the company called Ares fab built all the pages in it work for the company calls Peter or Internet we're gonna use that come out of the dead [Music] music got the best in me ever since I was a child [Music] bonusing added but you didn't have to add all this to actually make this street legal what's the bare minimums you head to make it street-legal turn signal make sure your hardware windshield during the Nina windchill turn signal lights brake lights all that wind on your you don't need you don't need a well 42 cups around here no fines you have flex seats plus side you're fine they were automatic versions now like the gearshifter with the I don't know Mirotic you put a 50 what doesn't spare tire yeah Hill carriers that's extra yep no mater which ever do two wires we ran out before yet would that connector up and do all that weird you saw your wager but this requires that has like to or switches on it and has a wireless you're gonna fight through it and just working off your wireless hope that's they get worn winch you guys you can go right oh and I've been driving with my blinker on again yeah now they have Auto cancel one want to have it seen and so you've also got the old-school blink madam and wired again oh I like that yeah I like is that the one thing I don't I mean just be in particular I just think that the old-school is a little bit nicer blinker system because it's just more familiar easier to remember okay one doesn't turn left Barry what did you see you change tires right yeah it's got bigger tires I don't know what size I stop of my habit that day okay so your bigger tires you really suck up your turning radius I'm well yeah and it just doesn't like to turn left that's one bad thing about the rock sir go right we've never really had a good turning radius to begin with so what do you mean it doesn't want to turn turn better right that it doesn't laughs I even looked on there yeah we're gonna do a bunch and I put new wheels not have a black box black rocks wheels on it yeah the tunica is a necessity you guys we've been racing I recommend in the racing but they're good they're easy to work with I also got an AFV power intake from them but I worked with them on the chew and you guys and it just it's Brett just total new life under this big we're gonna go right up here yeah again they have two kinds of kids you can get a faster stand to them the less power stage I can't print rough stuff my hand up did you install it or they do you just take your little unit off their horse screws and a plug ship it to them they add it back to me same week and bump what I even everybody in my complex drove it oh my god I think a brand-new bit wait a minute what unit do you think Ross the brains of the unit they're like trying to control my ship it against a little metal box and ship it in to shape it into him and then they ship it back after they change the firmware you're gonna go right how long's that take I got it under we this ship's like yes brand-new is good it really does yeah well you know why I don't fish better the heavy shifter the cheap you know I can they still consider to kind of a cheap knockoff kind of a Jeep it's not American made versus g-pack the American now she actually Milton I have a brand new Jeep to it like there's here's the thing you guys this is going to be a big controversial thing because they're getting sued by chief because of this very reason of making them street-legal but I don't think anybody's not gonna buy the owning market that this thing's gonna hurt is maybe possibly they use because I mean you even your sheeps had to do you could tell the total difference he creature comforts of your Jeep versus this this parable yeah this is bare-bones fun for offroad maybe a Sunday Drive something like that you know but now these things are encroaching with an automatic 30 grand I'm gonna go buy a brand new JL true to our base for that right yeah I'm gonna spend eternity grand amaura and then you don't have to dick around with adding your own blinkers adding a windshield right I mean this does come I mean there's no real come with the rock doesn't but you see the way this is but you can get a roof with it and all that but then you're approaching on that thirty thousand dollar price range and that's crazy in the mean for an eighty some horsepower these yeah doesn't make much sense unless you wanna project yeah right here we go budget but do you remember when you put first joget what a difference right that's the purpose of vivid performance right there yeah yeah what I the first time I Grover downlink yeah now do you have it so what you guys got you sent your stamp expectations low right onto the game these rocks are these guys how you get in and out now because you got the roll cage which you don't need this is just an optional one so there's no door solid welded tubular frame right so what Ares did a good job on it yeah so here's the - oh so this is the edge perform this is is this part of the chip upgrade so this is from edge performance is the CTS you you get it for pretty much any vehicle you guys it just plugs in here obediently after and basically basically gives me all these parameters and I could go in there and change them let's say I wanted to be rpm I can just go in there and change all kinds of stuff you know it's very cool I could change collar it's a nice I got this worn wench that they're eight this is the a tap I don't know if I have the a but it's a great wench it's an it's great lunch the great man who loved that way [Music] [Applause] but then I put cj7 style taillights on it this was all done by Ares fat but check us out see the light bar up here Stan so those are brake lights too but I also have reverse lights amber lights for when I'm you know running after off-road flashing Amber's if need be where'd you get that light bar from Casey what's a Casey like it's Casey light bar but check it out and then I just have switched seven just for running light so if it's like I'm driving and you know but they are brake lights to so what I break nope your car's not on or the jeeps not on now oh yeah yep Ares fab is that their bumper yeah custom made for the rocks or James over Ares fab made this so basically check it out oh well it solves if I don't know missing a bracket so he gets loose but it just opens up and you can access the water tank and you can also access this D so long we're following a Rubicon so we're gonna see how well this keeps up with a cop and the guy driving the Rubicon it's
