What happens here
To provide additional structural support and prevent the under-deck ceiling system from sagging, mounting brackets are installed. These white brackets are positioned and then screwed into the underside of the existing wooden deck joists. The video shows an installer using a DeWalt cordless impact driver to securely fasten these brackets, which either directly support the panels or secure the channels that the panels slot into.
