What happens here

This video depicts the complex and challenging process of applying multiple layers of epoxy to a custom three-inch thick live-edge wooden countertop in a kitchen, ultimately achieving a durable and glossy finish. The video highlights various stages of epoxy application, including mixing, spreading, and torching to remove bubbles, as well as the difficulties encountered during the project, such as warping and failed top coats that necessitated sanding back to raw wood. While this project falls under 'Post-Construction & Renovation Cleanup' due to the renovation work shown, the video itself does not explicitly feature 'Construction Debris Removal' or 'Post-Construction Cleaning using Commercial Cleaners.' The content focuses on the application and finishing of the countertop, which would generate the need for such cleaning activities afterwards.

This project has fought us every step of the way. About 10 years ago, Frank and I decided how cool would it be to install a 3-in thick live edge countertop, not knowing that it would become one of the most difficult projects we tackled. The countertop itself decided to start twisting and warping, pulling all of our cupboards with it. I think we're almost done. [Music] is just touching up the remaining part. Then the top coat failed not once but twice, forcing Frankie and I to take this countertop back down to raw wood. But here it is all finished. What do you guys think of it? And have you guys ever had a project feel like it was fighting you back every step of the way? I'd love to hear your stories. Let me know in the comments. [Music]
