So, we just got some aluminum oxide sandpaper here. Now, that's some clean copper right there. But, if you want to go a little more high-tech, you can grab a brush fitting, which will not only clean this, but it will also get down in here. A little bit of flux goes a long way. Just paint it on. Before you solder this, you want to wipe all this off. Why I wear jersey gloves because I end up using them like a rag. I like MAPP gas. It burns hotter than propane, and it just makes for a quicker solder joint. Getting it heated up, you can see right down here that the flux has started to drip. You just wipe off that excess flux, right? Because we might have put too much on. Wait until you see kind of a green flame on the other side. It starts to take. And then we just get it hooked up. Give that a wipe around. That looks pretty darn tasty right there.
