What happens here
After the roof is cleared, carefully unroll and position the synthetic roofing underlayment (such as CertainTeed RoofRunner, as seen in the video) over the prepared section. Secure the underlayment to the roof deck using a pneumatic roofing nailer. Ensure the underlayment is laid flat, taut, and overlaps according to the manufacturer's specifications. This layer provides a critical secondary waterproof barrier for the roof.
Goal: Apply the primary weather barrier layer to the roof deck.
