Delimb Log and Clear Access Trail

What happens here

Begin by using the Husqvarna 572 XP chainsaw to remove smaller branches and limbs from the main cherry log. This process, known as delimbing, makes the main trunk more accessible and easier to handle. Simultaneously, use the skid steer with the grapple attachment to clear any remaining brush, branches, and debris from the trail leading to the log. This creates a clear and safe path for moving the heavy log sections.

Goal: Prepare the main log for sectioning and ensure a clear path for extraction.
