What happens here

After your seedlings have sprouted, you may find multiple plants growing in a single peat pellet. To ensure the strongest plant thrives, you need to thin them. Using small scissors or tweezers, carefully snip off the less viable or weaker plants, leaving only the most robust one in each pellet. This process prevents competition for nutrients. After thinning, you can begin the hardening-off process by gradually exposing the seedlings to increasing amounts of direct sunlight. Start with 15 minutes of direct sun, then move them back to a shaded area, slowly increasing the exposure time over several days to acclimate them before full transplanting.

Goal: Ensure each peat pellet supports one strong seedling and gradually expose them to more sun.
