What happens here

This video provides a practical demonstration of how to efficiently operate and store a USA Ratchet tie-down strap, highlighting its advantages for organization and ease of use. It then transitions into a narrative tour of a private property, discussing various DIY and land management projects such as the construction of a gravel road, the implementation of an off-grid water system, the process of land clearing for trails, and a conceptual overview of building a clay pizza oven. A significant portion of the tour also covers the unexpected discovery and ongoing management of a historical cemetery found on the property.

all right so what i like about this is you can hook it you can bring the whole strap with you start [Music] and then you roll that back suck your webbing in you're good to go and then undo it for me once will you james that's it now roll it up once i want to see how well how it rolls up so if you just google them you can find them and if you call in sometimes you get a little bit better deal or even like free shipping on them so cool thanks guys nice clean bundle in your toolbox yeah that's the other big thing is like when you keep that in your toolbox like you just you got this and it's not going to come if you ratchet it up a little bit it's not going to come undone so like we have we can fit we've got square buckets that we keep in our tool boxes yeah and you can fit two of these and they're nice and neat so you can just easily pull one out you don't have like this big spider web yep straps that you're messing with kind of like what i got in the back of my truck right now i just want to let you guys know we're not getting paid by them i just seen it for the first time i think that's pretty cool idea so all right you guys well we're in for one heck of a ride in fact today's video was not planned it didn't go the way we wanted it to i actually drove out to vinton iowa to meet up with nolan from nolan's lawn and landscape we were going to harvest some black walnut we were going to hear the story about how he put his grapple hook right through the hand of one of his employees but he was able to actually save it when something completely different came up and he told me the story about all of the people that they found buried on his land after he bought it but i'll let him tell that story all right but this video is not over by any means we got we're gonna go have some fun now we're gonna see where some dead people are [Laughter] so what you discovered a cemetery you uncovered a cemetery on your property is that right yeah so we bought this last summer and we were contacted through mail by the iowa cemetery group and they asked us if they said there's a cemetery on your property along with your property lines um do we have permission to come in and clean it up so they came in last summer and found out where it was all the headstones were missing somebody came and took them years like years and years years ago and put them in their sidewalk going to their garage supposedly that story and so they found out where the bodies were um and they marked them all out so there's like 15 15 to 20 people buried on our property and you didn't know when you bought this no and you bought this last year yep dead serious all right let's go we're gonna go out through his property we're gonna go check this out so what you guys don't know is nolan installed this entire he bought this property like last year here two years ago and you put this entire gravel road in for under 10 grand yeah the first round of rock and uh all the dirt work was under 10 grand and then uh wild turkey oh there's we see all kinds of deer and turkey and no bear no bear looks like it's running with us maybe he'll come across in front of us hey don't run thanksgiving is like 10 months away we don't have a well so we got this is kind of a neat setup so we i raked up uh like 450 gallon tank okay um and then i've got a filter before the pump um pressures tank and then like a whole house filter after so if you can't drill a well but you need you know good running water bring something like that up where do you get the water from though where do you get the water from the um from in town so does the town have a public water supply uh well so we we live in town we've got a well okay um so hear that or your house or wherever but you probably wouldn't want to drink that but it's good enough for you know showering or you know using restroom or whatever we got tannerite all kinds of stuff out here you got what tana right oh you do yeah tannerite for you guys i don't know it's basically an explosive right i mean am i right with that yeah yeah once you hit it with a high glossy bullet it blows up you can take a you know a lighter or blow torch stick it right to it and it's not going to go off but the minute you hit it with that shock wave it goes crazy and blows up now is there a limit on how much of that you can buy at a time i've heard that not really you can get online great oh yeah i wonder if they track you if you're buying a lot of that stuff you know what i mean i mean at one time we had 48 pounds out here shut the front door you had 48 pounds of tannerite for 300 and i think it was like 379 dollars before 48 pounds did you light it all off at once uh we did like a nine pound uh one that was pretty fun was it so i still got a whole bunch of it but if anybody's in the market for a 61 impala hit me up it needs a little bit of body work but you know should buff out some assembly and parts a little bit vice grip garage come out here and he'll get that he'll drive that back home you ever seen that dude that dude is hilarious man ah here we go i love this trail everybody gives me a hard time because they're like oh you don't stop making trails there's gonna be no more trees [Music] this is a fun one will you stick it up there james there you go hopefully we don't get stuck there you go oh you got you got the you you got the skid loader buried down here oh we got a skid loader we can pull it out no but we don't want to get the skid loader buried again [Music] yeah i think we just go through here and give her help four-wheel drive [Music] this is so this is a white oak right here and look at the trunk on that thing it's really like that's got some character right there that's gnarly so that's a beauty saving that one or what are you gonna do with it yeah i cleared everything out around it and i don't need a neat spot down in here to do a little area to sit or something [Music] she's a good old farm gator but she gets up yes she does yes she does i got to be careful where i park her because she's camouflaged and sometimes i have a hard time finding her [Music] saw this brush we're looking at did you cut all that or did that fall on its own um some of it has there some of it i've cleared this is frenchly fallen you got any plans to do anything with it or are you just gonna let it rot back into the ground um i would like to eventually slowly work through the trails that we've cleared and and pull it out and put in a burnt pile so this is the cemetery right here this is where the dead people are sleeping we had back over this way um there was that so about probably half miles a mile that way there used to be a town called benton city it was established in like the 1850s google it there's only one website that talks about it um and it kind of died away in the 1870s because the railroad went through vinton instead of benton city and then this is where all the people are yep and so you didn't know they were here right so there previously was a lot of like trees and just like little brush and different stuff in here um this whole pile of stuff was like you know you gotta assemble it a little bit but there's trees and stuff through here um and there's like 15 to 20 people buried in each one of these headstones then is one of their markers so huh this is the original original settlers that started benton city and they're working on the iowa pioneers like commission or group or whatever they're working on figuring out the names are there names on any of these markers no so the there were headstones here like way back in the day um but somebody's thought oh let's take those headstones and put them in my sidewalk go into my garage so um someone and either center point or central city iowa has maybe still has some headstones in their sidewalk going to their garage so they put these up to mark out where the graves were and they're working on putting like a making a plaque with a list of names of who's buried here so people once they figure out who's here and somebody wants to come visit their relative though they gotta go through you for that right i yeah something like that i mean because it's on private property at this point i don't i mean that's the only thing that i i can think of [Music] that great clay is not very forgiving is it is not [Music] it's great for ponds yup and if you want to make a pizza oven that's about it so a pizza oven if you take grape clay hay and then like chicken wire you can make your own pizza oven and mold it and what you do is like on the inside of it um you pile sand up into like a dome and then you just mix this like the hay and the clay and all that together and it kind of worked the directo put a tree on it though so [Music] second time around though we got a the real deal oh you got a real pizza oven then yeah you just broke down and bought one instead of mixing gray clay and hay and chicken wire yeah you know it's a it's it's a one and done experience you don't want it like yep hey so it did it change the flavor of your pizza uh i guess it was maybe a little less gritty all right you guys if you're interested in another adventure with nolan from nolan's lawn and landscape let me know in the comments down below because he actually told me the story about the time that they were harvesting a lot of fallen timber and that's when he decided to buy a sawmill but during that process of harvesting the timber he actually put his grapple bucket through the hand of one of his employees and he was able to save the employee's hand barely had any blood had a just a phenomenal almost miraculous recovery but he did something special to make sure that that happened so if you guys want to hear that story uh let me know in the comments down below so just say hey tell me the rest of nolan's story that's all we got for you on this video well actually you know what we'll do the regular closeout we did at nolan's place you put your grapple through one of your guys hands dead serious all right you guys well that's all we've got for you on this one i want to say big thanks to nolan for letting me invade his space so much appreciate it sir noah what's the name of your company real quick nolan's law and landscape scene rapids iowa james what do you do for him i'm his crew foreman all right so big thanks goes out to both of these guys for giving me the tour taking me out into the woods going off trailing we got to slab up some logs we got i was just a good day just a good old day yeah i was a good bless you guys go get them and we'll catch you on another one see you later you guys
