What happens here
Using an impact driver, fasten the metal flange of the roof flashing directly to the roof decking. The video shows self-tapping screws being used around the perimeter of the flashing's flange. Drive in enough screws to ensure the flashing is firmly secured and lays flat against the roof, creating a permanent seal. Wipe away any excess sealant that squeezes out for a clean finish.
