the "Weird" new Makita Tools for 2022

so what are we looking at aaron oh so assuming our new cooler is coming out this year is the dcw 180. uh it has six cooling modes so it'll actually go from zero degrees to 50 degrees fahrenheit and then it also has a warming mode so you can keep this 140 degrees in here so that's for safe food transport it's got a bottle opener wheels nice handle what does this run off from so you can run it right now we have it plugged into regular wall power you can run off of a 12 volt car or our lxd platform and it does also have a usb so you can charge your portable devices as well oh nice and this is all day you can keep stuff cool 16 hours so the batteries will charge this all day long the batteries will run this all day long yes i mean run it all day long okay at like zero degrees too not which is freezing freezing at zero degrees on a hot vegas day this will still that's unless you're open and a thousand times but if you if it's running like this all day long it'll stay cold so we have it set for 40 right now just to keep waters cool but this can go down to zero degrees huh um when is it coming out it's coming out this year um see april and then what is the price range do you know off top my head i don't i can't speak to that right now okay so look for this one coming out april ish so this is going to be our new xgt uh rear handle beam saw so it's a 10 quarter blade uh 6 500 rpms it's gonna be on the xgt platform so like the gsr-01 it's gonna be 140 volt battery we're using a four amp hour battery on this one okay and then with a ten and a quarter blade we can do up to a three and three quarters depth cut so you can do a full four byte material in the same password 40 volt battery will outperform what traditionally would be corded power all right well show me your demonstration okay so the weight difference is a big factor big factor this is almost twice as much as this nice clean cut and that's running off from a single battery platform that makita is now switching over to so it rained here in vegas and they've just been sitting out here in the rain all night now do these light diffusers come with them no we do sell these separately these are a separate accessory but it is available so this isn't that something special that you guys created for yourself yeah these are available okay and these will plug in and also so they have acm dc power so in the case of this one this is our dml809 it's 10 000 lumens on high has two batteries but for runtime so it's still an 18 volt platform but two batteries that allows you longer run time you don't need both to run how long will it run for uh on on high ten thousand lumens it's uh three and a half hours what is it on right now on low oh okay that's what i thought the sun was bright coming in but then you turn that on and yeah it adds into it but what are we looking at okay so this is our gsa this is uh either just came out it will be coming out very soon do you see that one this is a high power blower so what this is for is you can use this in the place where you would use an air compressor with a duct like a blower nozzle so if you're dusting off tools or if you are uh i use a lot to blow off tools and clean them um and you can use it to clean i use other [Music] you could use like if you're like an hvac guy and you're doing air conditioners you've got clean filters all that kind of stuff you'd use an air compressor or the nozzle right so that's what this is i'm gonna start i'm gonna run this it's gonna sound like a jet engine you'll hear it actually speed up and build power cool all right let's do it [Music] that's like a hair dryer yeah i mean it's kind of like a handle for a nozzle yeah yeah kind of right yeah that's a high question all i could say aaron is only makita would come up with some obscure obscure tool that you're like oh yeah that's actually pretty cool like carlos is over there drilling right now so we could go blow that hole out yeah exactly exactly yeah so there's tons of uses for this could be for blowing out holes dusting hole blowing off the electronics she said yeah i got it yeah yeah i actually really like that it's one of those things that yeah like you said it's a little it seems interesting like kind of a weird idea but the more you use it the more i'm finding use this oh yeah and it comes with different nozzles too so there's a bunch of different applications that i can use okay very cool so on the rotary hammer carbide side we're very focused on end user solutions that's why you see before you today a whole range of premium offerings from hollow or osha compliant hollow stuff extraction bits down to more niche applications with our tile with diamond glass tips so this is all the brand new stuff how long have they been out with us so we actually have two recent launches that came just a few months ago with our new sps plus hollow dust extraction bits and in a new line of sps plus three bar cutter bits it's something that makes us unique in the rebar cutter size is we have an offering with two pieces where we have the adapter shank and the head separate to keep the user cost low so when you have to replace that head because it goes through a lot of rebar the teeth break off whatnot you just have to replace one portion ah very good all right well that's the new accessories by makita beds and blades i'll go ahead and run you a quick demo here yeah this is our dr801 one and an eight uh rotary hammer equipped with our onboard dust extraction system so once i start drilling it's automatically gonna start this vacuum so i don't have to worry about any of that oh somebody switch it on me there we go [Music] [Applause] [Music] just like that nice and smooth uh more so you have a pattern diamond in here correct okay versus some more scattered so we have both options in some of our diamond blades okay so now these are all brand new except for the makita this one's actually been used right these are brand new aren't they yeah so you can see even a used blade has more actual diamond depth than the brand new ones i mean this is no comparison and this is what makes these blades so expensive it's the amount of diamonds that are in them that's where a diamond expense of a diamond blade comes from right the amount of materials in them absolutely well pricing at retail for different things is based upon a lot of different factors but here at makita we're delivering to customers a premium experience with our power tool accessories and they're you're getting that performance that you expect from the makita brand be it on our diamond blades our circular saw blades our rotary hammer uh uh bits and so forth and does that actually translate to better performance we believe so you know all of our testing that you see as you walk around the booth and our claims on our tools yeah we test that in our factories in our engineering studios with makita power tool accessories all right guys welcome to today's video we're going to be testing out the newest power tools from makita we're at world of concrete and these guys are getting ready to do their first demonstration five inch uh depth cutting depth okay we're competing we're showing performance versus gas today we've got the still ts420 to basically show that it delivers on power that's the biggest selling point right there's all these bells and whistles about it there's electric brakes there's uh anti-feedback technology that stops the wheel when it binds there's soft stars there's leds right all these pool belts and whistles but the biggest selling point about this power cutter is the power aspect and the only way we're going to prove that is is if we let the user remind themselves what gas field and what our tool feels like so the power is not only there but it's also very constant right if you can really deliver on the economy efficient get the cut dock done newly unveiled as well as 8 amp hour battery okay so we're going with the x2 console where we're putting two 40 volt batteries both half hour on the tool to get not only the power but the runtime this is a dual battery powered it runs 240 amp hour batteries kid's gonna come with two eight amp hour batteries and do a four charger and this runs a 12 inch blade or a 14 inch blade 14 14. all the cool features like uh electric brake soft start led anti-feedback technology in case of the wheel binds up it's not going to kick back on you right mostly when you're cutting metal type of application so yeah wheel kit fully integrated aluminum wheel kit built in what's the price point on this saw price point right now still undetermined and when will it be available july 2 july time frame june july all right there you go by new by makita thank
